ISSUE EIGHT

In Issue 8 of Menu Magazine we again review some of the best restaurants in Perth, introduce you to some new ones and revisit old friends. We also thought we'd teach you a thing or two by welcoming you all to our "Education Issue". We've covered cooking at home, perfecting the perfect drop in your abode and teach you a little fashion etiquette in our "What to Wear When" fashion spread.

Publisher Scott Arnold-Eyers' take on his whirlwind food safari through Malaysia. And speaking of culinary excursions we caught up with former Masterchef contestant Trevor Forster who recently opened his new venture Capricci's on the Rockingham foreshore.

ISSUE SEVEN

Issue 7 of Menu Magazine we visit some of Perth's fantastic cafes and restaurants and tasted some great drops of red and white. We researched the growing industry of drive-thru coffee and met some true kid connoisseurs, who enjoy a change from the typical kid's menu. Everything from truffles to tea is covered in this jam packed issue, as well as our regular columns, book and music reviews.

Menu Magazine Issue 6 has hit news stands and is waiting for you to grab it and have a read!

We've reviewed some fantastic cafes and restaurants and look at the history of chilli. we also explore the different types of milk availble for your next latte. We also looked at the trend where breakfast is the new dinner. It seems more and and more people are taking advantage of cheaper, convenient quicker meals.

Check out our CD reviews - there's some great beats to be heard. And if your're after a good book there are plenty on offer in this issue.

ISSUE FIVE

In issue 5 of Menu Magazine we explain what’s going on with the Fair Trade and Organic certifications, and explore what the differences are between brasseries, bistros and burger vans. We did some research into how music affects the way we eat and came up with some pretty radical stuff - I’ll never listen to café music the same way again! Speaking of music, check out our CD reviews - there’s some great beats to be heard. And hey - have you tried cat poo coffee yet? We spoke to someone who has, and it turns out it may not be the dog’s bollocks...

ISSUE FOUR

Are you a hopeless romantic, or do you need some tips? This time around, we're all about the love bug - romance, weddings and anniversaries. There are some great ideas on where you can take that special someone for a romantic meal, we delve into the realms of wedding venues, and give you cheating tips on how you can treat your partner for you anniversary, whether it's your first or fiftieth. Plus you can really impress them by ordering wine like a pro with some of our help! Speaking of wine, we got completely tiddly finding some great reds and whites for Our Top Drops, and also stumbled (excuse the pun) across some fabulous music that you'll love no matter what mood you're in. Also deep within the pages of our even bigger magazine are cool new products to check out, and we have a crack at brewing our own beer! There are lots of restaurant reviews, so you get to see what we think of places not only in Perth, but also way down south and right up north.

So turn the lights down, grab some chocolate, a rich red wine, and indulge yourself whilst reading the latest Menu Magazine , brought to you with love!

 

ISSUE THREE

Want to know some answers about what's happening in the Perth cafe scene? We look at some current issues such as whether to talk on mobile phones in cafes, and what's going on with the new liquor licensing laws. We also check out wine, handy products, those staples like eggs and potatoes, and loads of other stuff!
